A tripod turnstile is a type of physical access control device used to manage and restrict pedestrian flow into and out of restricted areas. It consists of three rotating arms mounted on a central pivot, forming a tripod-like structure.
Tripod Turnstile Series, also known as three-arm turnstiles, is a type of access control device. Originally imported from abroad, these devices are used as intelligent control terminals for pedestrian entrances and exits. They are specifically designed for areas that require security checks or controlled access, such as cafeterias, hotels, office buildings, museums, stadiums, clubs, subways, stations, docks, and tourist attractions.
1. **Mechanical Turnstile Mechanism**: Tripod Turnstile mechanism requires manual effort to push the arm after the control is released. After one arm is pushed through, another arm stays in a horizontal position through the hydraulic damping device of the mechanism and needs to be released again before it can be pushed. The pushing force required is only 0.5 kg.
2. **Motorized Mechanism**: This mechanism is equipped with a motor inside the turnstile. Once the control is released, the arms move forward at an angle. When a pedestrian comes into contact with the arms, the motor will actively rotate the arms until another arm returns to the horizontal position, completing the passage.

- Each entrance and control direction can be equipped with a counting device, which can be reset or left as is, and can be either electronic or mechanical.
